Hello! I was just wondering why you didn't think this was needed any longer:

In November 2007, Rowling said she was working on "a half-finished book for children that I think will probably be the next thing I publish."

Catherine Tate Show Characters

Hi. Thanks for the message! I understand what you mean about it looking cleaner. I just thought that the other supporting characters definately deserve recognition as their own stubs (me perosnally, I love Liz!). The current intro kinda makes the other characters seem less important (or that other characters do not exist). Possibly, it could be changed/improved like this:

"The following characters/sketches appear in the comedy series The Catherine Tate Show on BBC Two. Comedian Catherine Tate plays all of the main characters. Supporting characters, played by other cast members, are under the appropriate character/sketch in which they appear. All of the characters were created by Catherine Tate with Derren Litten and their team."

This way, for example, "Nan" is not only a character but a sketch to where Jamie belongs.

Thanks for your reply. I'll admit that I didn't read the entire article from top to bottom, so I may have missed any intended natural progression, but I still think some sections closely related enough to be grouped. For example, if I were interested in Nigella, I'd probably start with the "Background" section, but skip the "Merchandise" section (and possibly the "Television" section) and go to "Personal life".

Unfortunately I don't think Wikipedia has a standard section outline for articles like this, so most tend to be organized differently. Since you seem to have put a lot of work into this article, I'll trust your decisions. -Roger (talk) 16:37, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

I replaced the original image for the KylieX2008 article. Neither WP:IMAGES nor WP:IUP states that a free-use image is deemed "superior" or (as your edit summary states) "takes precedents" over another image. I was not getting into an editing war with you nor was I stating that I'm right and you are wrong. I simply stated that no where does it state that one image is superior than another. There was an editor before you that changed the image of the article hourly stating the same as you and I thought that it was along the same terms and I do apologize. To correct you, I did not upload the image, Alkclark did. Secondly, I believe that this is not an issue over fair use, etc. You're probably the same guy who changed the images before because he did not like it. Wikipedia is a not a web host nor is it an art gallery to display your work. If that is your intentions, I suggust that you look towards a fan site to display your artwork. Hi, I haven't reviewed it on the FAC page. It's rather good, so congrats. However, I just want to say that it's rather heavily linked, mostly with high-value links (which is unusual). I do feel that the patchwork of blue could be reduced with no loss by removing trivial dictionary-type links, such as "depression" and "estate agent". These are deprecated by MOS. And are you aware that date autoformatting is longer officially encouraged? You might well consider removing it from the main text (the British formatting is just fine); some nominators are starting to do this in already-highly-linked texts. Eagle, the three geographical place names, well, they're all well-known to English-speakers, no doubt. There will always be borderline cases (Tokyo no, but Osaka, maybe/maybe not; Kinakoru, definitely). Partly depends on the context, too. See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(links)#Overlinking_and_underlinking. As for your query about the cite web template, that's a problem that is being addressed in the coming weeks.
