A tag has been placed on Smile Tutor Agency Singapore, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. It's a bad idea to write about your own company[edit]

Information icon Hello, E.Zahid. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Smile Tutor Agency Singapore, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 12:46, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Regarding your email, it is not true that millions of people have Wikipedia articles about their startups. Any article about a company that fails to make a claim how it is significant or important may be speedy deleted. Any article which is outright promotional may be speedy deleted.
In the case of your company, there was no credible assertion of significant or importance. There were vague claims like "one of the leading home tuition agency"[sic], and there were sentences like "They aim to bring the best quality professional tutors on the doorstep" that feel like they were copied straight from an advertising flyer. So, while the issue with promotional tone could have been fixed, there were no independent reliable sources, so there was nothing to suggest that the company would meet WP:CORP or WP:GNG. —C.Fred (talk) 15:13, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It is worst action against me. Why I cannot post on Wikipedia? Please respond — Preceding unsigned comment added by E.Zahid (talkcontribs) 15:33, 30 July 2016 (UTC) (moved from User talk:C.Fred)[reply]
You are welcome to edit Wikipedia on any topic to which you do not have a connection or conflict of interest. Regarding your company, you are bound by the same conflict of interest guidelines that apply to all other Wikipedia editors. Further, any article you create is subject to the same guidelines and policies—including the criteria for speedy deletion—as any other article. —C.Fred (talk) 15:47, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Procedural note. If you want to reply, you can put your message here, on your talk page, below my last message. That way, the entire conversation is visible in one place. I have your talk page on my watchlist, so I'll see that it was changed. —C.Fred (talk) 15:49, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
COI is once someone write about own company. I am writing about another company which have lots of referencing. Please allow open source content as open source. I have read all Wikipedia guidelines and my article is meeting all of these. That is worst action to delete a content instead of guidance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by E.Zahid (talkcontribs) 15:53, 30 July 2016 (UTC) (moved from User talk:C.Fred)[reply]
So, you're writing about an entirely different company? Then feel free to start to draft an article about it. Also, be very careful if you're trying to copy material in from another website: not every open-source license is free enough for Wikipedia purposes. —C.Fred (talk) 15:56, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Please restore my previous page. I spent a lot of time and effort to make that. I do not copied any content from somewhere else. Please restore this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by E.Zahid (talkcontribs) 16:00, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You mean the one you wrote about your startup? No, I will not delete it. You can go to WP:REFUND and see if another administrator will email you its content; I don't do undeletions via email. —C.Fred (talk) 16:02, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Since you've broken your promise to not write about the Smile Academy, I must conclude that your sole purpose on Wikipedia is to promote it. As a result, this account is re-blocked indefinitely and wil not be unblocked. Acroterion (talk) 13:03, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
