You're right about those articles needing a lot of work[edit]

Hi, Drdanielledick,

I can wildly guess from a lot of reading that I have done that your username is related to the name of a scholar of behavior genetics. Welcome aboard. I think I have most of the Wikipedia articles you would be interested in updating on my Wikipedia "watchlist" (which tracks changes in articles I am interested in) and I agree that most articles on behavior genetics topics need tons of work. Major updates of articles proceed most smoothly when a few editors agree with one another to discuss changes on the article talk page and verify sources with one another. I am doing that right now on the article English language, which has long needed a lot of work, and expect soon to turn my hand to the article Psychology (which is an article that would welcome your contributions, for sure). I've long had in mind to update Human behaviour genetics, and you will see comments from me on the talk page of that article suggesting sources to use to update it thoroughly. I keep more extensive source lists on human intelligence and human genetics in Wikipedia user space to share with all editors here. I revise those source lists continually, and I will be very happy to hear your suggestions of new sources to add to those lists. I look forward to working with you collaboratively to improve Wikipedia articles. Editor Randykitty just posted a welcome template here to your user talk page, and that links to many useful links about Wikipedia policies and procedures to help your editing go smoothly. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 18:54, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Thank you for the helpful posts on how to edit wiki pages. I am a newcomer to Wikipedia (as I'm sure you guessed), having just yesterday participated in a brief workshop on editing wikipedia. When I read the entries for my field (behavioral genetics) I could immediately see why it is important to make contributions to this on-line resource (us scientists tend to just like to publish in academic journals!). I hope to slowly work on the entries in my field and recruit others in the area to do so as well. I appreciate your patience as I learn the Wikipedia procedures and etiquette!
