Welcome!

Hello, Drawoh46, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for helping us build a great free encyclopedia. We have five basic principles, but other than that, we advise that you be bold and edit. If you ever have any questions or need help, feel free to leave a message at the help desk, and other Wikipedia editors will be happy to assist you.

Thanks again and congratulations on becoming a Wikipedian!

P.S. New discussion threads for you will appear at the bottom of this page.

Hello, Drawoh46, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, 2013–14 North West Counties Football League, is copied from another Wikipedia page, 2013-14 North West Counties Football League. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 16:23, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, indeed it was a direct copy, but it was a copy from the page I had created myself, but realised only later that it contained an error in the title (I'd used a short hyphen, rather than the long hyphen, which is required by other pages in the series).Drawoh46 (talk) 16:31, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have now changed the OTHER page into a redirect to THIS one, should anyone stumble across it by mistake. Thanks for your concern! Drawoh46 (talk) 17:13, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Northwich Flixton Villa F.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Flixton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Just to let you know, you can also use the updater in text (e.g. diff) so the intro will automatically update too. Many thanks for adding them to the NWCL clubs! Cheers, Number 57 19:25, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Number 57: Just realised the significance of your message. I'll use that for the rest of the NWC updates, and go back and add it to those already done. Thanks! Drawoh46 (talk) 06:13, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Can we get some input in resolving an edit dispute?[edit]

Hello Drawoh46. I am hoping that you can lend some assistance. Me and user GiantSnowman need assistance in resolving an edit dispute concerning the kit section that was in the Nigerian national football team article. He removed it citing WP:NOTGALLERY. I disagree with his interpretation and I have shared my reasons on the talk page at WikiProject Football. We request the input of members of this project in order to resolve this issue. Your assistance would be appreciated if you have the time. Thanks! unak1978 16:30, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 18[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Peterborough and District Football League, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Oakham United F.C. (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
