Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Chris Gayle. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Reported

I have reported you for your repeated disruptive editing / Personal attacks at WP:AIV. Spike 'em (talk) 10:01, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I withdrew that, and changed it to

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Spike 'em (talk) 10:41, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

December 2018

Information icon Hello, I'm Red Jay. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to User talk:Velella. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. Thank you. Red Jay (talk) 13:27, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at User talk:Dr Samkiv Kumar. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. That's enough personal attacks. A personal attack, in response to a civility warning? Not. Cool. Bellezzasolo Discuss 13:45, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Talk:Chris Gayle. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. You asked me to leave you alone, which I was happy to do. Rather than do this yourself, you continue to post personal attacks on various pages. Spike 'em (talk) 17:41, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- Scott (talk) 20:30, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request for being unblocked

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Dr Samkiv Kumar (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have made some useful edits in the article 'Chris Gayle'like- Adding of teams which were not edited even after the whole season has passed. For example- Jozi Stars, Kerala Knights, Vancouver Knights . I have made an edit in his records that he is first player who has played in 11 different leagues and later clarified it by adding the name of the leagues for which he played. I have made some important changes in his controversies also. I appeal the admin to unblock me and feel sorry for the improper conduct.

Decline reason:

"Oh mad donkey just shut up", "You are son of a dog and a mad person", "if you will not unblock me in two hours than I will report a police complaint against you", "Mad fellow, just shut up", "you mad,son of a dog"...? You are lucky you were only blocked for 1 week. I'd have blocked you indefinitely if I'd seen that string of insults and the legal threat, and you would not be unblocked until you made a convincing commitment to control your foul mouth and speak to others as a civil human being. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 06:38, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Dr Samkiv Kumar:

I request the admin to unblock me. Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 05:41, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Boing! said Zebedree, I have already written that I feel sorry for the improper conduct. Now please unblock me.

Change

I request the admins to reduce the time for which you have blocked me. I promise that I will make useful edits from now Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 11:02, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request to the admins

I have many times requested to the admins but I think there is no one to listen. Once again I request to unblock me or I have to report to higher authorities.Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 12:31, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your block was absolutely justified, your unblock requests have come nowhere near close to addressing your unacceptable behaviour towards other editors, and there are no higher authorities who will unblock you. To save further waste of time, I have revoked your ability to edit this talk page for the duration of the block. While blocked, please take the time to read WP:NPA and reflect on how lucky you are to not be indefinitely blocked. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:58, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and further, you must not remove my decline reason from your unblock request, which you did multiple times despite being reverted and told not to. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:59, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • To respond a bit further and to explain what I think are some misunderstandings on your part, I must add that "I feel sorry for the improper conduct" (above) is really not sufficient for an early unblock. What I would have wanted to see (and I am sure most other admins would too) is some sort of reflection on your grossly uncivil and attacking approach to others, and something that convinces us that you will change that approach and will behave in a civil manner here rather than throwing out personal insults if your contributions are reverted. I would also have needed an explanation of how your behaviour will change should you experience challenges to your edits in the future.

As for your "I request to unblock me or I have to report to higher authorities" approach, I fear you do not understand how Wikipedia works. Wikipedia is run by its community on a volunteer basis by consensus (please follow that link, as it forms the basis of how everything here is supposed to work), and the community elects volunteer administrators to enforce its will. Behavioural problems which can not be solved by simple discussion are usually handled in the first instance by administrators (of which I am one), and if we feel a case is not sufficiently simple we will often refer it back for general community discussion. In rare cases when a combination of administrators and community discussion can not resolve a behavioural problem, it is possible to refer a case to the Arbitration Committee (who are also volunteers and who are elected by and answerable to the community). But the Arbitration Committee will only accept cases when community discussion and administrator judgment have failed to resolve a problem. Other than that, and barring any actual legal or Wikimedia terms-of-use issues, there simply is no higher authority with a power to unblock you. Sock block

I have blocked you indefinitely for pervasive abusive socking by editing without logging in.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:28, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23: Where you have blocked me and can I know why? Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 15:31, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

{{checkuserblock-account}} shows on Blocklog for "Dr Samkiv Kumar" . This is based on private evidence, which shows (from what Bbb23 says) that you were using IP addresses to edit while blocked - i.e. you were engaging in Block evasion. Bellezzasolo Discuss 17:24, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Bellezzasolo: Please unblock me and block Prong$31. Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 17:45, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think Bellazzasolo is an admin so can't unblock you. As people said above, if you want to appeal, you need to acknowledge your mistakes and show why it won't happen again, rather than throwing mud at someone else. It was clear you were IP editing on Chris Gayle before your first block, dunno what else you've been up to in the meantime. Spike 'em (talk) 18:36, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Although done in good faith, Bellezzasolo should not be speculating as to the basis of my block. Spike 'em is correct, Dr Samkiv Kumar: Bellezzasolo is not an admin and cannot block or unblock anyone.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:57, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23: I have an account on Wikipedia. And the name which is mentioned in the account, the same name is used for editing. There are many people who edit without account.... Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 03:12, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Spike 'em: I am not throwing mud at him. He reverts every edit of mine on hiwiki as well as enwiki. Blocked me too on hiwiki. I requested the admins to block him so that he cannot revert my edits but due to unknown reasons the admins didn't. And tell Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me that this is not a fun, talking nonsense. Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 03:21, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You always put junks in article and after that if anyone pings you for your mistake you started abuse that user. And please don't complain here about hiwiki because this is enwiki and here no one will take action about it. Your statement "Please unblock me and block Prong$31" is clearly said that you are of sadist mindset. You only go to AN because I blocked you on hiwiki and complain your behaviour on commons which led sine die block imposed on you. Plaese get rid of vindictive behaviour. Good luck!-- Prongs31 05:11, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Prong$31: Revert my edits on छंद page which you have deleted. Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 05:58, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, please do not discuss about hiwiki here. @Bbb23: If user continues to discuss hiwiki here please consider the ban from editing talk page too.-- Prongs31 06:23, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Prong$31: You are calling it a load of junk because you know nothing about poetic metre, illiterate. What I have wrote there is very important and informative for the readers. Who are you to revert or delete my edit. I have edited it with a lot of efforts and you put my efforts in water. It's a clear misuse of your ability of being an admin and I will surely report it and if you don't want it to be reported, revert your edits (Last warning). Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 07:51, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't waste your time by posting ridiculous warnings here, this doesn't mean anything. I am also unsure where you going to report. (please don't say again unblock me in two hours otherwise I will report you in police station) You posses yourself over smart here but you actually not. Every edit you made here is clearly visible in public domain despite you delete that.-- Prongs31 11:40, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Prong$31: This is your time my boy. Make as much fun as fun as you can. Once you unblock me and you will be directly reported.... Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 13:48, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23: I will never discuss other wiki here. But please unblock me in enwiki. Sorry once again, sire. Please finalise an expiry date for my block. Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 06:30, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23: I am sorry sir. I will never make personal allegations like the above. But please don't ban my ability to edit this page and don't ask Prong to report me, please sir, please. Dr Samkiv Kumar (talk) 13:53, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

One of the reasons you were indefinitely blocked at Commons was because of your harassment of Prong$31. Apparently, based on your comments here, you haven't learned from that experience. I have therefore revoked your access to this page.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:02, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Block evasion

This user has engaged in block evasion in May, 2019. --Yamla (talk) 13:27, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And still at it on this very page. Lots of edits from 117.225 and 117.234 ranges. Spike 'em (talk) 14:46, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeap. I protected this page. Talk page access was revoked months ago, no reason to allow this person to continue evading their block. They already know they aren't welcome on en.wiki at all. --Yamla (talk) 14:53, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
