Welding power supply

Absolutely, feel free to split up those sections in the welding power supply article. It's in pretty sorry shape right now—I've been focusing on the actual welding processes lately, and not so much on the equipment side of things. When you write, be sure to cite your sources—we have a policy of verifiability around here which basically states that it's important that we recognize where the information is coming from. So even if you write what you know, it'd be great if you could provide a reference from a welding textbook or the like so that it's easy for others to know where the information is coming from. If you use more than one reference, it's helpful to provide inline citations (generally one or two per paragraph). There are a number of ways to format them, but I used my favorite method on welding and GTAW. Any questions about that, let me know. If you're not interested in attempting to learn a footnote system, just type <!-- Smith, page 54 -->, which will make them not appear in the article itself. I can take care of the formatting afterwards.

There's a picture uploading tutorial, and then there's a picture usage tutorial. If you're going to take your own pictures and are willing to license them under the CC-BY-SA license (easy to read version here), I'd suggest creating an account at the Wikimedia Commons and uploading the images there. --Spangineer^es (háblame) 17:03, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
