Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Hi! Here are my notes:

I know that this wasn't your writing, but the lead is a little confusing. It says that the magazine developed out of an earlier one involving members of members of two Paris film clubs. There are names listed after the clubs - are these people who were specifically involved with the creation of Revue du Cinéma and Cahiers du Cinéma? If they weren't involved with Cahiers du Cinéma at all, then there's no real need to list them in the article. If they were involved, but not in major roles, I'd probably just mention them in the body of the article and not the lead. This may be something to look into, but it isn't a major issue to be honest.

Is it possible to separate the history section into subsections? The reason I mention this is because it's a huge block of text and splitting it up into something like time periods or eras could make it easier to read.

If you're doing the former, you probably might want to be WP:CAUTIOUS and discuss things on the article talk page first; if you're doing the latter, you probably shouldn't and instead focus on improving the existing article instead. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:15, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

November 2021[edit]

If its under 700 words now then you can take the tag off of the section, and state its now under 700 words in the edit history comment field. It might help to check in from time to time to make sure that other editors do not add in too many details since your version of the plot seems to work.
