I hope this welcome offsets the rather brusque warning about inappropriate pages below! If your page is deleted, you might like to have a look at this page which may suggest why. One of the most frequent reasons for deletion is that a subject fails to meet these criteria for notability. Alternatively, a notable subject may just not be properly verified with in-line citations. There are some really helpful suggestions about drafting, improving and perfecting articles at the blue links shown. In the case of your article, the problem is a twofold one of a conflict of interest and a question about academic notability. Have a look at those two blue links and see if they give you some guidance. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Domenico Grasso, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.uvm.edu/~cems/?Page=explore/grasso_bio.php&SM=explore/_exploremenu.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Domenico Grasso[edit]

A tag has been placed on Domenico Grasso requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Spam in College of Engineering[edit]

Please do not delete the warning to spammers who inflate the credentials of the UVM College of Engineering so baldly that it is unbelievable to a serious audience. I've had to edit this section twice and would like the warning to persist until the spammers quit. Student7 (talk) 21:55, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
