Hey DMS, can you identify the object on the left side of the image you uploaded? I'm assuming it's a tape transport, but I'd like to know for sure. Maury Markowitz (talk) 14:15, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, it was a 9 track digital tape drive. I vividly recall the occasion when we were developing this system when we were given a digital tape of air traffic at Kennedy airport, but it was a 7 track tape. We fooled the tape drive into reading the garbage data and recovering the original information. Dms489 (talk) 22:25, 19 January 2017 (UTC)dms489[reply]
