Let me guess: like me, you live in New York City and use Verizon? :) The block until June 1st is a series of addresses which have been used by one particularly determined person to engage in harassment and death threats; as such we've unfortunately had to take extreme measures and disable anonymous editing for most of Verizon's NYC networks. Regarding the block until May 28th, my best guess would be that a different administrator blocked it for a few hours due to short-term abuse, but you then switched over to the network that's been used for long-term abuse and was blocked by me.
