WPTL todo[edit]

I recently constructed an attempt at a more organized WikiProject Theoretical Linguistics open tasks template, but I haven't received any responses on the project talk page. If you could take a look at the test: User:Mitchoyoshitaka/WPTL todo and comment on it, I'd greatly appreciate any feedback or criticism! mitcho/芳貴 02:42, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article Improvement Drive[edit]

These are my suggestions:

1. Check off the major topics, which are at the top of the WPTL list currently - Syntax, Semantics, Generative Linguistics etc. The entry level articles which people are going to be using to cheat on their homework need to be top notch.
2. Work on someone's 'pet' article - and if anyone has a particular article in mind, they should comment here.
3. My pet area is non-transformational linguistics, so I would vote for Lexical Functional Grammar etc

The only negative suggestion is that the article drive avoid biographies. Thoughts, comments? Peter 20:44, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Santa Cruz Student Housing Co-ops[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Santa Cruz Student Housing Co-ops, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  X  S  G  05:03, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Santa Cruz Student Housing Co-ops[edit]

I have nominated Santa Cruz Student Housing Co-ops, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Santa Cruz Student Housing Co-ops. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.  X  S  G  22:12, 7 October 2008 (UTC)  X  S  G  22:12, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Theoretical Linguistics[edit]

Hello, I am trying to bring WP:WikiProject Theoretical Linguistics back to semi-active status. Toward that end, I have moved all members who have not posted to the project page in the past six months to a section, "Inactive members." If you wish to be active in the project, I hope you will move your name back to the section, "Members." You may also remove your name if you are no longer interested in the project. Thanks, and happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 17:34, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
