Note[edit]

If any comments like "This is funny" were made on a discussion page, I'm terribly sorry. That would be my cousins. I did not make those comments.-Diabolos 06:45, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redlinks[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to wikipedia. I noticed that in one of your recent edits you introduced one or more internal links that targetted non-existent articles. Please see Wikipedia:Only make links that are relevant to the context for more information regarding what should and shouldn't be linked in articles. Please do not link to non-existent articles unless you immediately plan to create them, or the original article requires that link for further explanation.--Crossmr 01:38, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AMA request[edit]

The Doc Hammer article is an article of poor quality. It was written by User: Hazelfo who takes much pride in her hard work. Unfortunately, the quality has been attempted to be fixed and has failed due to the constant reverting. One user, User: 63.167.255.231, has repetedly deleted the comment about Hammer's birth defect being snazzy, which doesn't belong there. I myself have attempted to resolve this to no avail. I have tried to bring this to a level of Wikipedia standard and have failed. A request for full protection has been put in. -Diabolos 06:35, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Diabolos, I'm Steve Caruso from the Association of Members' Advocates. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with User: 63.167.255.231. I'm writing to inform you that we have recieved your request, and that we are currently in the process of finding you a suitable Advocate. You should be hearing from us soon. In the meantime, be sure to read through the AMA pages here at Wikipedia to get more aquainted with the process of Advocacy and what to expect. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page. :-)אמר Steve Caruso (desk/AMA) 11:38, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is not User: 63.167.255.231 that I'm having problems with, it's User: Hazelfo. User: 63.167.255.231 is attemtping to improve the article inquestion. -Diabolos 18:39, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize for misreading, I got the two names mixed up in my reply. :-) I also notice that you have signed up to be an Advocate. Are you still in need of Advocacy in the meantime? I'm a bit confused by this string of events, so may I ask for clarification of your intentions? :-) אמר Steve Caruso (desk/AMA/vote for me) 23:39, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have signed up as an Advocate and need advocacy so badly that I'm on the verge of taking a WikiBreak.-Diabolos 23:40, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't go on a Wikibreak. I was not aware as to how urgent this request was. Let me handle your case personally. אמר Steve Caruso (desk/AMA/vote for me) 23:54, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I can't seem to leave Wikipedia and I want to see this problem resolved. Should I explain the situation a bit better? -Diabolos 02:24, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes please explain things as detailed as possible, so I can grasp what is going on. I don't want to see any Wikipedians, especially a fellow AMA member get to the point of being driven from Wikipedia due to this kind of stress (I've already seen it happen once before, and do not wish to see it again). I've set up our own talk space over on my desk here. If you could take the time to write things out over there, we can go over options. אמר Steve Caruso (desk/AMA/vote for me) 22:03, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Doc Hammer article[edit]

You asked me if I thought this article was "encyclopedia quality". That's easy; it's not. Reads like a fanzine. Does that answer your question? +ILike2BeAnonymous 01:10, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thought that would be your answer. That's my opinion and I thought I should have another user look at it. -Diabolos 02:19, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I really don't see what gives off this impression. I think you're just biased because you totally hate me. You've sucked all the fun out of Doc Hammer's page, and now you want to make it so that no one can touch it? --Hazelfo
Did you not read what was stated about the Snazzy Birth Defects article? If you want fun, go be a vandal. Most of us on wikipedia are serious about what we do. -Diabolos 06:52, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you want fun, go be a vandal. Most of us on wikipedia don't like fun.
Didn't you realize that I let 'snazzy' go already? And I did read all of those comments. They were hysterical. Some people got the joke, even. Yeah, it should have been deleted. But that wasn't my point. Jeez. You want to take everything interesting from Doc's page and put another bland Wikipedia entry in its place. Why on earth would you be so serious about something like this. You probably have high blood pressure because you let an article on Wikipedia get to you. Wow. --Hazelfo
She actually has freakishly low blood pressure and the only time anything on Wikipedia has gotten to her was when a guy at her school vandalized five pages. -Darknightmusic 04:13, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh my God, I got a Barnstar from Diabolos by being funny on Doc Hammer's page. If that is not irony...! --Hazelfo 04:51, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I do admit, the "Unencyclopedic" behavior was way better than the stuff at Unencyclopedia. By the way, I saw my pysician who told me that I need to raise my blood pressure. [citation needed] -Diabolos 04:57, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. But Encyclopedia Dramatica is much better than Uncyclopedia any day. --Hazelfo 05:02, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
On the subject of Encyclopedia Dramatica, the unethical Gay Straight Alliance of Cedar Falls High School has made wikipedia. -Diabolos 22:39, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AMA status[edit]

Are you still up for taking a case, or do you need some extra focus time? I don't want to hand you extra stress if I can avoid it. :-) אמר Steve Caruso (desk/AMA/vote for me) 02:37, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am still up to taking a case. I actually feel as though my stress level has gone down. -Diabolos 03:59, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting Fact About Diabolos[edit]

Diabolos is apparently a Final Fantasy character. -Darknightmusic 04:20, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vera?

What? Please sign your name.-Diabolos 22:17, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you are receiving this message because you have listed yourself as an active member of WP:AMA. If you aren't currently accepting inquiries for AMA, or if you have resigned, please de-list yourself from Wikipedia:AMA Members. If you are still active, please consider tending to any new requests that may appear on Category:AMA Requests for Assistance. We're going to put AMA on wheels. :) Sorry for the template spamming - we're just trying to update our records, after we had a huge backlog earlier in the week (if you've been taking cases, then sorry, and please ignore this :)). Again, sorry, and thanks! Martinp23 21:07, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - would you consider closing your current AMA case: Wikipedia:AMA Requests for Assistance/Requests/October 2006/theblessedknower? It seems to have been inactive for around a month, and your advocee is pretty much the same! I'm sad to see that you've delisted yourself from the list of members, however I can understand if you are too busy :). Thanks, Martinp23 15:56, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CVU status[edit]

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Survey[edit]

Hi Diabolos!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
