Franconian Switzerland

Hi Doug! Less common in eng. than "Little Switzerland". So you say. So you moved it. So now I'm asking for your source, so to speak. Because all I'm seeing by now is a move that I can't quite follow. Nothing serious, just asking. So long, --G-41614 (talk) 08:18, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't recall the exact data but I believe I did a Google search for all reasonable variants after noticing what I thought was a strange translation (because I live in the area and have never heard a literal translation used). I believe I used both Google.com and Google.de (as one will get different results) and found it "Franconian Switzerland" to be very rare as opposed to "Little Switzerland" and I don't recall how I sorted out other "little switzerlands", this has been quite a while, I likely used an advanced search with a mandatory "Franconia" or some such thing. If you come up with other data let me know and we can post it on the discussion page.--Doug.(talk contribs) 09:49, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
