Yes -- from my personal experience. Yesterday, I had sleep paralysis from 7:58 am to 10:12 am = over two hours. Today's was about a half hour. I have had them from 8:00 am till after Noon.

Okay. We'll actually need third party sources to document this, but I tagged it with "citation needed" and hopefully someone can find something in the medical literature that will work. On Wikipedia we have to work with the policies of WP:no original research and WP:reliable sources, so personal experience won't work for our purposes. However, I'm not going to remove it at this time. I hope that someone will be able to get something from a medical journal, perhaps, that discusses it. On another note, daaaamn that sucks. I have had sleep paralysis for up to maybe five to ten minutes, tops, and I hated it. Is there some kind of treatment? {{helpme}} I just tried to edit a page, but it would not do it because there was (supposedly) a blacklisted link on the page. Nice one :D I remove the helpme template for now, but please put it back when you see our messages and are able to tell us which page did that :) I assume the blacklisted link was already there and got spotted only when you tried to save the page. Found it! that was mythogames.150m.com/... I removed it from the source and you should be able to edit the article now. It is not something I made up in school. I am nearly 60 years old and haven't been in school for many years. I don't know how to format the link to the treasure hunt webpage, but I put it in the text below without formatting.

Hoofengoofers are a folk legend in central Iowa which have since become the inspiiration for stories and folk art by various authors and artists around the state. They also inspired the Hoard of the Hoofengoofers treasure hunt.

Hoofengoofers are the Iowa equivalent to elves, the little people who inhabit the Des Moines River and Raccoon Valleys. According to local legends, Hoofengoofers sometimes hide valuable TREASURE and leave clues for humans to find -- if they are clever enough. Hoofengoofers are shy, old-fashioned, intelligent beings about 18" tall. Their mortal enemies are the Trolls of Northeast Iowa, who trap Hoofengoofers for their dinners ...

Hoofengoofers are said to live under the roots of oak trees on the bluffs overlooing rivers and streams. The King of the Hoofengoofers is Gewald Tomnoggins I, whose palace on the Skunk River in the Story County Greenbelt resembles a Norwegian stave church -- but is enchanted to look like driftwood to ordinary humans.

In 2002, Theatre of Interactive Drama, Inc. used Hoofengoofers as the inspiration for a Kit Williams style treasure hunt.

You still seem to be missing on the reliable sources part. A geocities area which can be written by anyone to say anything does not constitute a reliable source. The interdrama page you point to doesn't seem to make any mention of "Hoofengoofers", it would also probably fail as a reliable source. Generally for things we require multiple independant reliable sources. See also verifiability, and notability --pgk 18:38, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Wizard Academies, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Davilance, I was looking at your page Elfland catacombs and wanted to see a copy of the work but I can't find any references to it whatsoever other than your Wikipedia page, and copies of the Wikipedia on other sites. Davilance, I too would like to locate a copy of Elfland catacombs. I'd assume that you're the author of the program, given the author listed in the article and your signature. Elfland Catacombs is one of the earliest examples of hypertext fiction. It was published by Winterhearth company in 1981, several years before Michael Joyce's Afternoon, a story (which is generally thought to be "the first hypertext fiction"). Author Alan Lance Andersen created Elfland Catacombs as a children's fantasy adventure, using the Commodore BASIC computer language. The plot involved the reader visiting an aunt in the border country of Scotland and becoming lost after crossing into Elfland with the help of an elf named Jennings. Numerous plot paths led to different endings — some happy and others not quite so pleasant. Unlike the many computer game style adventures of the period, this was a true electronic storybook with hypertextual links. Paul Jordan Hollander later converted it from the obsolete Commodore Basic into HTML files (see link ABOVE).

I came over the Elfland catacombs article again, 14 years after I first saw it, and I still can't find any other sources about its existence beyond this Wikipedia page and the page you linked with an HTML conversion of it that is now dead. The first page of that HTML conversion can be access on archive.org, but it still doesn't show that the work existed or was shared beyond a private circle of people in 1981, so I don't think we should keep this Wikipedia page stating that it is the earliest work of hypertext fiction.
