They are people of noble background and held important positions within many different Asian countries. There is a confusion of their origin, but Khawaja can trace their linage back to Abu Baker, because his companion was named Khawaja. Though these people have been around a lot longer. They may have been people of Jewish descendant, though that is not proven.

During the Persian Empire they have prominent roles and seen as LORDS. It is hard to trace their exact where about, but they have also helped to spread the Islamic religion through Sufism.

They have played important roles through centuries in Asia. They are an Enigma.
