GPS[edit]

In my edit summary, I mentioned that it was tagged for the duration of the recent launch of the GPS 2R-M3 satellite. I simply forgot to remove the tag afterwards. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 20:50, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GPS[edit]

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the [Crosslink] issue on GPS. I found it a few years ago while googling for GPS articles at work. It's an amazingly good selection of articles, and I recommend it anyone who wants to come up to speed on GPS. Thanks for the [GPS World] link. I've printed it out for my lunchtime reading. GPS[edit]

"Thanks for catching "attitude" versus "altitude" on GPS" - Davandron
No problem, every time I can help with facts or syntax to Wikipedia, I do it. I should have commented the change but it realized it after I hit Submit :(. I'm still a newby to Wikipedia, in fact I don't know if this is the way to answer you message. Bye!

Firefox[edit]

Do you realize that {{User firefox}} has already been deleted about 4 times? Just an FYI. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 04:03, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't realize; why does it keep getting deleted? I figured that it was an oversight, having firefox versus Firefox.
How does one know if an article has already been deleted? - Davandron
When you go to APageThatDoesn'tExist in edit mode, it should say something about checking the Deletion Log. I'd tell you more specifics, but it seems that my corporate firewall/proxy has just been blocked. :( Anyway, do a search for "the German userbox solution" - I believe the point is that they are moved into userspace, and you will see one in userspace referred to on my main page. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 21:46, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Toolbox[edit]

I see you have some on your user page. I have some on mine you may want to check, like complete lists of what to put on people's pages. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 22:14, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great, thank you! - Davandron | Talk 22:21, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Navigation[edit]

Sounds fine. I don't think we have a disagreement. I sail also, am a former USAF Navigator, and have taught Land navigation as a Scout leader for many years. So in all environments, we both seem understand that depending on ONE aid to navigation is foolhardy. I don't think letting others know that fact (it's in EVERY text on navigation I've ever read).

BTW, I LOVE GPS, understnad it's reliability figures and use it extensively, but I still always have a paper map or chart with me. GCW50 19:57, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BA609[edit]

Thanks for your improvements to the Bell/Agusta BA609 article, especially the pic! However, Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft/page content now recommends using the standard {{Infobox Aircraft}} in all aircraft articles at this time. I will be converting it over shortly, with some minor tweaks, but I promise I will try keep all te other changes you have made. Thanks. - BillCJ 23:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks. I disagree with omitting the specs from infobox, but I wasn't part of the original discussion. Since the aircraft isn't in production it seems the standard infobox will be mostly empty. Thanks for the feedback. - Davandron | Talk 16:16, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Osprey undo strangeness[edit]

I usually cut-and past the name from the History section to the edit summary. Evidently I forgot in this case, and paste the IP from a previous summary on a previous page. - BillCJ 17:58, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I thought perhaps it was the undo script doing that. - Davandron | Talk 19:10, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OBOGS[edit]

If you know a decent amount about it, we could use an article for OBOGS - there are four aircraft so far that reference it (redlink or by acronym)... — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 19:22, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the sentence just looked weird so a did a search on the term. I'd never heard of it before. - Davandron | Talk 21:21, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh well, one could hope. :) — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 21:58, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
