Thanks for that. I haven't actually been down East Hill in ages and the clubs weren't really my thing, so I kept well away from them. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:24, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Le Châble[edit]

Thanks for the update there; it prodded me to add a little more about the Verbier Express. Mackensen (talk) 17:09, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

La Verpillière station moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, La Verpillière station, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:01, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Removing La Verpillière station to drafts is unwarranted. Here's why.
Could you please explain where the requirement of having at least three sources is coming from. There is no such condition in WP:GNG.
Then, an article on a train station typically has information of its location and services. What kind of extra information sources could be expected for that apart from existing timetables? Do we need sources confirming the fact that a station is indeed is located where it is located? I understand your intentions but honestly, think it's overkill. Please see below a very short list of some more articles which contain even less (in any case, no more) information and no more sources then the one you just moved to draftspace. For consistency's sake, they - and hundreds (if not thousands) of others - need to be moved to drafts as well? These are just local stations in Isere department (on nearby) in France. Articles like that are everywhere. They all provide very basic information about unique topics, and that should be fine with Wikipedia. So please get my article back.

Hi. As per recent concensus at AfD's, train stations are not inherently notable, they need in-depth sourcing to show that they meet WP:GNG. An article with solely a map and primary source will not pass GNG. Your argument above is what is known as WP:OSE. You should also read up on WP:OWN. @Onel5969 hard to see the justification for draftifying a main-line railway station in active use. Mackensen (talk) 22:45, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Was tagged for two weeks with no improvement. As per WP:DRAFTIFY, this was a poster child for draftification. Onel5969 TT me 01:27, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
