FAQ[edit]

Yah, I actually thought of that like 5 minutes after I made the edit. I don't know if there is any particular rule of thumb for this, so I guess the important thing is just that the article is consistent with it.--DCAnderson 17:24, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Response from Chuck[edit]

Added "Again, first read the Introduction", which I might not stop to do without being given the encouragement. Also changed "Ready?" to "Ready now?" I feel these changes are worthwhile.--Chuck Marean 09:12, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

--i.e.Response to:" Hello, Chuck. I would suggest that you discuss potentially drastic changes, such as this one, on the talk page of the article before enacting it. I don't think it would have consensus. (You removed the sidebar that most would regard as an important convenience. Second, all of the text has been removed and I feel that I am not the only one to believe that the text was helpful in situating and introducing the reader.) I've reverted the changes and want to make you aware. (You should feel free to revert back if you don't agree with me that such a drastic change needs discussion.) --DanDanRevolution 01:06, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

POLL[edit]

No, no, no, not what you think! This time is for something that all of us need:

Improvement of the <ref> function.

Please weigh in at Wikipedia talk:Footnotes#Poll! NikoSilver  (T) @ (C) 18:04, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

and another Poll...[edit]

Hi. There's a debate about how much "X-ian" one must be in order to be considered "X-American" (or X-Yian for that matter) and be categorized as such. The poll is here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Ethnic groups/Rules for lists of X-Americans. Kindly weigh in! :NikoSilver: 21:58, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

old hat[edit]

Just read this talk subpage or whatever, that you may have created four years ago: [[1]].
I referred favorably to it in a related space, & made additional point that "refractoring," as used by Wikipedia, isn't a word available in any dictionary. One might say, therefore, that it is improper English.
