Your change to Template:Internet Archive is reverted because you changed its nature without regard for existing transclusions, affecting thousands of Wikipedia pages. Though perhaps your intentions were benevolent, your edit was harmful. This is a serious competency issue. If you do it to a slightly more visible template, you might be blocked without a warning. So, please, for the sake of all of us, think carefully before doing what you want to do.
