Caution

Your last edit on Dennis Hastert violated a number of policies, not least of which is WP:BLP. Jonathunder (talk) 21:11, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

@Jonathunder:, please discuss in talk. The material is sourced and a summary of an entire section, so there is no BLP concern. We are discussing a possible UNDUE issue, and I made a proposal for you and others to consider. - Cwobeel (talk) 21:37, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

A cup of tea for you!

Thank you!

Thank you, Cwobeel... and believe it or not, I was preparing to drop one of these barnstars upon you...

RfC: Religion in infoboxes of nations

There is an RfC that you may be interested in at Template talk:Infobox country#RfC: Religion in infoboxes of nations. Please join us and help us to determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 14:10, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

Please take another look

Hello! I am leaving this note for you because you participated in a deletion discussion about the Wikipedia article titled Institute of Continuing Education. I substantially expanded the article today (for the helluvit), and would appreciate if you would take a look and see if it’s better than when you last saw it. Cheers.Anythingyouwant (talk) 03:46, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

WP:DNNY

As I said, don't be surprised that backlogs accumulate when idiots drive off administrators. I don't often close discussions, and dealing with the Dunning-Kruger effect is generally the biggest reason why; it's wearying to waste one's time attempting to explain to people that they don't even know what they're talking about. Nyttend (talk) 04:33, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Nyttend, this project is successful because of idiots, semi idiots, wise, unwise, crazy, sane, learned, unlearned and all others came together to build something better that could be done by experts and scholars. You have been editing since the first days of this project and it is surprising that you think the way you do. - Cwobeel (talk) 04:41, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

"2012 Benghazi attack" entry edits

@Cwobeel: @VictoriaGrayson: Your comments, reverting my edited revision 667641821, and those of VictoriaGrayson, belong on a Talk Page. Discussions such as yours and hers should not generally be conducted in Undo or Revert edit summaries, which are not intended for that purpose. (Cwobeel, I note you have been called "internet famous".) VictoriaGrayson, insofar as you have standing with "pending changes reviewer rights", you should really try to show less bias if labeling well-established news outlet sources as not "neutral" enough. Professor JR (talk) 10:30, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

@Professor JR: Learn about WP:BRD. I am uninterested in engaging on discussions unless you abide by BRD. In this case you made a bold addition, and you were reverted by VictoriaGrayson. At that point you needed to discuss, not revert again as you did. If you want to engage in a discussion constructively, self-revert... - Cwobeel (talk) 14:17, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
@Cwobeel: @VictoriaGrayson: Thanks for your very welcomed advice. I agree. And, if VictoriaGrayson had started her challenge to the "neutrality" of the sources cited in the edit in question by using BRD, all this could have been avoided. Since she did not, I should have, as you suggest. Thanks again. Professor JR (talk) 15:35, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

Please self-revert

I AGF for this revert. Your edit summary reads "Please stop and engage in talk" but you reverted me who actually posted multiple times on the subject on the talk page and you support Nomoskedasticity who didn't engage at all in the conversation. This is beyond the fact you reverted BLP back into the article. Thanks, 31.44.136.75 (talk) 21:50, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

You need to stop edit warring. Nough said. - Cwobeel (talk) 21:53, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
Can you comment on the matter instead of attacking me? Is 'dangerous extremist whose actions could plunge everybody into a bloody religious war' BLP or not? 31.44.136.75 (talk) 22:22, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
That is what the source say. In WP we report what reliable sources say about a subject. In the article, that text is on a quote and not on the article's body. If you have concerns you need to discuss in talk. - Cwobeel (talk) 22:46, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
You might have missed the memo but WP is an encyclopedia not an index. I have discussed everything in length but you chose to support the guys who didn't. 31.44.136.75 (talk) 08:01, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Clarification

Hi Cwobeel,

I was just wondering if you could clarify your comments on this talk page. It appears there is a misunderstanding (possibly on my part) as to who your comment was directed to, and what exactly you meant.

Beyond disappointing

Your assessment at Talk:Matt Williams (Internet entrepreneur) is remarkable. You should be much better than that. Suggesting AGF is an understatement. The Dissident Aggressor 04:28, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
