Help me![edit]

Please help me with...

I want to work on adding citations to the compiler page, but don't have much experience editing articles. I'd also like to work on future computer science articles as a side hobby. It would just be nice to have someone to work with!

So if your looking to mentor someone in starting out wikipedia pages give me a shout! Thank you!

On adding references, the video at WP:Referencing for beginners explains how to easily create nicely-formatted footnotes. For a more general introduction to editing Wikipedia, check out the tutorial or, for a more playful approach, The Wikipedia Adventure. Regarding mentorship, this page may be of interest: Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area. I see you've already left a note at the talk page of the computer science WikiProject; I was about to point you that way for topic-specific help. Huon (talk) 21:06, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thank you! --CurryMi40 (talk) 21:13, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adopt-a-user[edit]

Hello. This is a courtesy note to inform you that I have removed the "adopt me" template from your User page. You have not been active on Wikipedia for a considerable time. Its presence misleads others into thinking that you are still seeking to be adopted and to be guided by another editor under the Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user scheme. Obviously, you are free to reinsert it if you return to active editing and want to seek adoption again. (Just 'undo' my edit in the history of your user page to put it back). For simple questions about editing, just ask any of us at The Teahouse. Regards from the UK, Nick Moyes (talk) 04:08, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
