Hi There
I wonder if you can help me please? I feel very dumb about this ... I am trying to create a wikipedia page about a person, I have the template for this, but I can't figure out how to put in the title name at the top of the article or how to add text to the space below the title and above the "Early Life" Section.
Also, it seems that you have to complete each section before you move onto the next one, and then you can't save what you have done in the meantime.
It all seems very awkward to navigate. I think I must be missing something?
I have clicked everywhere I can and just can't figure it out. Do you have any advice please?
Thanks in advance. Curl74 (talk) 10:28, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Todd Keske, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Recent edit reversion[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:38, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi There
Thank you for your input about my changes to the article. I am quite new at this and still learning.
You were correct about some of the changes I made, I forgot to add the link to the source page on some of the info, and was planning to come back and correct it as soon as possible.
However, quite a lot of the other bits of information I added into the article were not from that source and as far as I know not in copyright violation. Is there anyway we could work together on keeping some of the other info I added and adjusting the stuff that was incorrectly added? Thanks Curl74 (talk) 13:36, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Foam Supplies Incorporated (FSI) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
