Continuing a slow edit war to get your way on the tamplate is disruptive.

At this point use the template's talk page. The change you want is contentious and editing the template affects multiple pages. Continuing to just edit as you see fit will result in the template being fully protected.

I'm sorry, the above evidently was not clear enough:

Editors have disagreed with your changes to Template:Iron Man.
In the normal course of things, you should be engaging in a discussion of the change you want on the template's talk page. NOT ramming it through. This is WP:BRD.
Other editor's talk pages are not the proper place for you to make your case.
Continuing to edit the template instead of actually discussing what you want changed an why will get the page fully protected in the state prior to you edit at this point.

making an article[edit]

making articles isn't just about how big it is, but how much reliable sources back up the information with references and citation. The xehanort article holds no sources. before making an article, try making a special page and fix it up until it's ready to be a real article.Bread Ninja (talk) 00:40, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I was gonna said that, but the big problem is that the article fails WP:Notability due to lack of real world information (creation is good info, but the reception is the most important one to establish notability). Moreover, as I've searched across the web months ago, Xehanort has no comments from third-party sources mainly because he barely appears in the series' games as a boss. You really need to start using edit summaries. Your edits to the Black Widow articles make little sense and are of little use.

Also:

Adding headers to create 1 line sections is never a good idea.
When moving parenthetical information to be part of the regular text, avoid adding apostrophes. "Bucky, as Captain America, is a..." is a better replacement for "Bucky (as Captain America) is a..." than "Bucky's Captain America design is a...".

New month, same problems:

Edit summaries are needed to explain why you are making changes. As it stand small sections of you changes may make sense, but it is impossible to tell from you lack of communication.
Without explanations, the removal of content, especially content containing references, is not only disruptive but can be seen as vandalism. Editing in that meaner can eventually lead to temporary suspension of editing privileges.
There are specific elements of style that are commonly followed in articles. Some of those with comic book characters are:
- First appearance notes don't get links.
- Links to points later in the article are acceptable. Especially in longer articles.
- Bold text is to be kept to a minimum in the body of the article.
- Apostrophes are to be avoided if possible.
- When specific years are available or commonly used, they are used. They are not "rounded" to decades.
- Articles are written taking into account "comic book death" - that is it it stated as an assumption, not a flat fact.
- "Character/Costume" is rarely used in video game sections.
- Release years are relevant and noted with video games.
- Over linking is to be avoided. If a section, or more commonly an article, already links to another specific article, don;t link to it again.
Also - resolution of Eddie Brock's story in the film is a contentious topic. If you want to change it, you need to discuss it first and show consensus for the change.

Single warning:

Do not vandalize articles - Part of your edit to Spider-Man (Miles Morales) was to remove a referenced chunk of content and leave the ref in place, implying it supports the same content the preceding ref follows. This damages the article. Period.
Do not capitalize all words in a header. This is a basic part of all Wikipedia articles. The only exception is with proper nouns.
Lay off the parentheses.
Never move an article by just copying the text.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, some of your edits do not appear to be constructive, and has been reverted. Here are some examples:

In your edits to Miles Morales:

The clause about Morales not being the lead in the cartoon is meant to clarify to the reader who may confuse the book and the cartoon as having the same premise because they have the same name. Even if you wanted to add it to the In other media section, why remove it from the Lead, when the Lead is supposed to be a summary of the article's most salient points, and therefore repeat some of them?

Removing the phrase "Spider-Man's nemesis" from the passage that mentions Osborn is also not justified, since articles are written for the uninitiated, who may not be experts in comics lore, and therefore require some clarity in the exposition.

There is no justification for turning the term "Norman Osborn" into a piped link that directs to Green Goblin, since the character who genetically engineered the spider in question is indeed Osborn, and not the Green Goblin, which is just an alias, which you can see if you read the Lead summary of the Green Goblin article.

Outside of the Lead section and captions, terms should not be wikilinked in the article body more than once, per WP:OVERLINK. Spider-Man is already wikilinked at the top of the Conception and publication history section, so wikilinking him again further down at the bottom of the same section is redundant.

Similarly, there is no reason to change "the character" to "Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales)" in the In other media section, because by that point in the article, it has already established who the article is talking about. (The title of the article kinda gives it away, after all). Similarly, adding further details on the play is unnecessary, since these capsule-sized bulleted items should be highly summarized. (See WP:TRIVIA and WP:INDISCRIMINATE).

Lastly, the source cited at the end of the passage does not make any mention of Alimi Ballard, or any voice actor.

Regarding your edits to Shocker (comics) here, here and here:

In the passage "He escapes prison while participating in a contest arranged by Quentin Beck, who is trying to prove Spider-Man's powers were fake.", you removed the words "who is"? Why would you do this? The resulting phrase is rendered grammatically incorrect.

You removed a citation tag from the passage that mentions Greg Cipes voicing Shocker in the video game, but without providing a source for that, and the YouTube video cited for that passage makes no mention of Shocker or Cipes.

Changing the phrase "the latter" to "the time-traveler", as you did here, is not a better choice, because the reader does not know that Spider-Man 2099 is a time-traveler. Saying "the latter", however, clearly indicates which character the passage is talking about.

A wikilink should not be piped to avoid a redirect, as indicated by WP:NOTBROKEN.

Commas represent a natural pause in speech, and that that is why they are used. In the passage "Shocker appeared in the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends episode "Along Came a Spidey", voiced by John Stephenson.", a comma should indeed appear after "Spidey", because that point represents a where a pause would be if the passage were spoken. Removing it was not justified.

The passage you added with this edit on the Prowler using Shocker weapons is not supported by the source you cited, as that issue makes no mention of this.

Your alteration of the passage "Despite this, he is defeated once again by a symbiote-controlled Spider-Man after gradually removing his gauntlets and knocking him unconscious with the symbiote's power." is not a grammatical improvement.

You again removed the clarification from the Lead section, even though I explained in my message above the purpose that it served there.
You also changed the phrase "he is not" to "he's not". This is inappropriate, because Wikipedia content needs to be written in a formal tone, and contractions are less formal than non-contracted phrases.
The word character is not an adjective. It's a noun. Thus the proper phrase is "the character Miles Morales". Not "The Miles Morales character".
You again wikilinked the word "Spider-Man" in the passage that mentions the 2012 miniseries Spider-Men, even though, as I pointed out above, terms should not be wikilinked in the article body text more than once, and even though that term is already wikilinked further up in the article.
You chopped up the paragraph regarding Morales' origin, so that the first sentence about the opening story arc is separated from the rest of the paragraph, even though that sentence is supposed to be part of that paragraph. When writing paragraphs, one of the paragraph's sentences, usually the first one, is supposed to set the tone or subject of that paragraph. You provided no reason for this separation, and in separating, you left that sentence without a citation.
You added information about Lego Marvel Super Heroes without providing a citation of a reliable source. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here.
In the last two passages of the article, you changed the phrases "The character" to "Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales)", and then added an additional instance of the latter phrase when you included "Spider-Man (Miles Morales)" as the beginning of the sentence you added on Lego Marvel Superheroes. This is exposition overkill. By the bottom of the article, the topic of the article has already been copiously established for the reader. Employing expositional wording like this is redundant, since the reader knows what the topic of the article is about.
You again made these edits with no edit summary. When making edits, editors are expected to summarize the edits, and the rationale for them, including any pertinent policies or guidelines, in the edit summary. If a dispute arises the editors should discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page yet you have apparently not been using edit summaries, nor have you been responding to these messages, or making any attempt to discuss these matters with other editors, as your edit history would seem to attest, despite the fact that you have been editing Wikipedia for over three years.

New year, same problems:

Edit summaries are needed to explain why you are making changes. As it stand small sections of your changes may make sense, but it is impossible to tell from your lack of communication.
Explain when you are removing material. Without explanations, the removal of content, especially content containing references, is not only disruptive but can be seen as vandalism. Editing in that meaner can eventually lead to temporary suspension of editing privileges.
