License tagging for File:Galo people.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Galo people.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:05, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, could you back up your authorship claim for this image? The small resolution and the photoshop metadata seem to suggest it was simply pulled off some website. I am myself prepared to take your word for it that it shows "Rega, a Chakma woman", but taking this for granted just because the uploader said so is hardly encyclopedically responsible. I do not mean to accuse you of dishonesty, it is just a fact that many, many images are uploaded to commons with false or no claims of authorship. If you are indeed the photographer, perhaps you can substantiate this by stating the time, location and subject of the photograph, or else show that you are in possession of the original camera file with higher resolution? thanks, --dab (š’³) 09:42, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
