Very short articles on taxa[edit]

I have noticed that you have started a number of extremely short new articles on taxa or species. Thank you for your efforts in doing this: most of these could probably be useful articles if they were expanded. However, as they currently stand, many of them run the risk of being speedily deleted as having no content beyond a definition or no context. Remember that Wikipedia is not a dictionary. It would probably be far more helpful to start only some of these articles, but to expand those with a few sentences of information about the taxon or species and a template appropriately marking the article as a stub. --Opus 113 (talk) 04:01, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please please take this advice! These articles you are creating are virtually empty. Instead of creating so many, please supply at least a couple sentences and an appropriate taxonomy box.
