Titanic[edit]

I removed your contribution there. I'm not sure if it was intended to be trolling, but it was certainly not calculated to be helpful. --John (talk) 01:27, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ha ha[edit]

Re this. You are still talking about different species. Try to comprehend the very simple concept that within species variation is different to between species variation. You might find it helpful to find out what a species is, as you don't even seem to be aware of the basics of taxonomy. If you insist on commenting on scientific concepts try to at least have an mediocre grasp of the subject. That's why I personally try to only edit articles about things that I know something about. Request reason:

Please unblock me. A comment I made, on a talkpage, was misconstrued as being anti-semitic, when the intention was quite on the contrary! It intended as complimentary towards the Jewish people. I was also not even given the slightest chance to explain myself before being blocked. That is extremely un-American. This whole mess could have been avoided had the offended user simply asked me to clarify what I was saying. I deeply apologise to anyone who was offended by my comment, it certainly was not my intention to insult the Jewish race or at all belittle the horrors of their slaughter during the holocaust.

Decline reason:

As noted in the discussion, your block is based on continual disruptive and bigoted commentary. — IrishGuy talk 00:42, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Could I please have a Jewish editor review my case, if he would be so kind. It would be up to him whether or not my comment was offensive or complimentary. Furthermore, an indefinite block seems like complete overkill for such an issue

Decline reason:

Asking for a Jewish administrator to review the block is compounding the error. I held out a smidgen of hope that you might recognize why your comments were hurtful and offensive and your indef could be reduced at some point. Now I'm not so sure. — Ronnotel (talk) 13:08, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note; this editor has had previous unblock requests "reviewed" by accounts who have subsequently been indef blocked. These "reviews" have been removed from this page, but are still in the page history. Please note that one such "review" advised the blockee that the review had been agreed and the block lifted, when this was not the case. Whatever the points regarding Confederate till Death's block and review requests, please ensure that any further unblock requests are dealt with our usual civility and respect. Thank you.
