Detroit Red Wings color[edit]

Howdy. I like the improvement in color you made to the Detroit Red Wings. How did you determine the correct hex color code? — MrDolomite • Talk 17:51, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking[edit]

Be careful about overlinking; per guidelines, we do not need to link the same thing again when it is already linked not far away from its first appearance, nor is there a reason to, unless the appearance is in the lead (intro) of the article and it should ideally be specified again a bit lower within the article's body. For example, the singer Pink is already linked in the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards incident in Taylor Swift's article. This is why I undid that edit by you. I am not trying to be a pest; just wanting as many editors to follow proper formatting here as possible. Flyer22 (talk) 01:03, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning message re NY Rangers[edit]

Please excuse my error in treating your edit as vandalism. I would have removed the warning message on my own if you had not. I have heard too many homophobic hate chants at Ranger games and seen too many homophobic edits that any reference to such chants appears to be vandalism. Please accept my apologies for my error. Major League Baseball franchises[edit]

Hi, I reverted some of your changes to the franchise table at Major League Baseball, but still tried to incorporate some of what I think you were trying to do. Please feel free to add your own thoughts at Talk:Major League Baseball#When is Target Field the Twins' home? and Talk:Major League Baseball#Boroughs in Franchise table. There's certainly room for more than one opinion. —— Shakescene (talk) 00:33, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jaguars template colors[edit]

The Jaguars official secondary color is white, not gold. That is why the template font color should be white. Plus it looks better and is easier to read. ~Richmond96 tc 05:08, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hurt Locker[edit]

I changed the phrasing of the awards section some - let me know what you think. There were lots of single sentance paragraphs which was breaking things up too much. I kept the intro the same, moved the academy awards and golden globes up (probably more important than guild awards) and went from there. Ravensfire (talk) 15:59, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Saints template colors[edit]

The font color should always be white regardless of uniform color due to WP:COLOR. Plus, it looks better and is easier to read. ~ Richmond96 tc 04:03, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

3RR[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. ►Chris NelsonHolla! 21:34, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
