Hello :) I noticed you posted saying you did not know how to format references correctly. I'd therefore like to reassure you that you did exactly the right thing in your recent edit to Compact-open topology - so thank you very much for your contributions! I hope you will want to make further edits to other mathematics articles in future. One thing to note is that we usually avoid use of "we" (as in "we modify this definition") because articles are not supposed to represent one point of view but many.
