Welcome[edit]

Hello Clasione, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. Don't forget to use the Show preview button before you save. Again, welcome! – ABCD 03:38, 13 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Linkpath.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Linkpath.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:08, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Speedy deletion notice[edit]

A tag has been placed on Long Island Exchange, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Seraphimblade 06:55, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion notice[edit]

A tag has been placed on Searchen Networks, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Searchen Networks. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Seraphimblade 06:57, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy tag removal[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Seraphimblade 07:27, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion notice(s)
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Seraphimblade 07:31, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:LongIsland.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:LongIsland.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hello Clasione. If you have spoken to a Wiki admin, they themselves should be able to undelete the page. I would recommend trying WP:DRV to ask for its deletion to be reviewed and possibly overturned.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 15:42, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page has been deleted several times. It would be highly inappropriate for one administrator to decide to undelete the previously deleted material (due to the amount of times it was deleted) without it being run through WP:DRV. Take it to the deletion review and allow the community to decide if it is appropriate to recreate. Thank you.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 20:52, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you place the info box on my talk page? Please do not spam the info box. Allow people to express their opinions in the deletion discussion. Thank you.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 18:37, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
