I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

MM stations[edit]

I just stub-sorted your new article at Precotto MM, and I can see that you are creating many other similar articles. There are a few problems:

  • "carriers of disability" is not good English, and the link to the disambiguation page at Handicap is not helpful.
  • "2 tracks in a single barrel" does not make sense in English
  • If you look at Category:Rapid transit stations, it seems that the convention is to have something more like Precotto (Milan metro station), which is clearer for the reader than the very brief "Precotto MM".

Milan Metro templates[edit]

I have marked the Template:Milan Metro/next as deprecated and have bypassed the parameters to the standard Template:S-line. There is no need to have a custom version when the standard one can do so much more. You were aware of these shortcomings when you had to createTemplate:Milan Metro/next special to fix some problems. I also agree with the general comments above about all the Milan Metro station articles, but I will deal with one thing at a time. Sw2nd (talk) 04:35, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Milan Metro station infobox[edit]

There is no need for the custom {{Infobox Milan metro}}. Everything is covered by the standard {{Infobox station}}. If you wish to add the vague location map that you seem so intense in retaining, please use {{Milan Metro location}} instead and add the X and Y values as parameters. See Maciachini (Milan Metro) as a first example. What does "it is built on a single rod with two trucks" mean? These articles are very poor translations and you should cleanup the text. Do you intend to add all the stations? Sw2nd (talk) 22:55, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
