Your edit to Daz Sampson was seriously inappropriate. You can be blocked without further warning for making such edits to the Daz Sampson page. Please do not repeat such behaviour. TomPhil 15:34, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Starhyke[edit]

Re your changes to Starhyke.

  1. You said that "Blackhorse Entertainment was unable to sell the show to any broadcaster". As far as I am aware, they are still in discussions (http://www.starhyke.com/home/default.php). If you can find a source that states that they have not been able to sell the show, please feel free to restore your text.
  2. You said that "Only six episodes were ever made". Where is your source that states they will not be making any more?
  3. I don't come online much at the weekend, which is why I was unable to respond within 48 hours.

Take care.-- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 09:11, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changing from American english to British english (or vice versa) is prohibited. If you do not stop reverting, I'm going to block you. Raul654 21:30, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ernest Emerson[edit]

Attempts to have this egregious bit of puffery deleted have been stymied at every point latterly by an Admin. Would you please support the request for the AdD reinstatement at her page; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Fang_Aili#Ernest_Emerson_Deletion Thanks Albatross2147 03:53, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

UFO (Film)[edit]

I'm sorry for the reversion, but the way you wrote it made it look like vandalism. I'd suggest you to better integrate that info with the text. Leaving it like that makes it look like a loose piece of info with no connection to the story. You could, for example, cite the scene where it is referred that the acronym stands for that, or explain why it is not the usual meaning, or who says that - I don't know the film, so do what you think is best :) Waldir 09:25, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hum, I din't notice you added a reference, this time. People usually wait for the reply before reverting a reversion, when they have contacted the other editor, so I assumed you hadn't changed the article yet and therefore din't know about the reference. You may disregard my previous reccomendations, the text can stay like that (but it would be still useful and informative, not required though, that you added some more info on that). Anyway, I added a references section (see my edit to the article), to make the reference note visible. The next time you add a reference to an article that didn't have any, remember to add this section or the references won't appear in the end of the article. March 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Project Chanology, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Cirt (talk) 01:21, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have not provided a cite to a secondary WP:RS/WP:V source to explain the change to the article in this manner. Please do not remove info and add other erroneous info, if you cannot back it up with a cite to a secondary WP:RS/WP:V source. Cirt (talk) 01:31, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Of course you're trying to help, but if your edits don't follow key polices they will be reverted. I also suggest looking at WP:EDITWAR. Your edits, as Cirt pointed out won't be accepted as they violate policy. I don't mean to sound threatening, but continuing to read them would be harmful to the encyclopedia, and I would have no choice but to block. Maxim(talk) 02:00, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If the "ruling clique" was trying to do something and they didn't like you, you'd've been banned a long time ago. ;-) As for your edits, see WP:RS. The sources you added were not reliable. Try discussion at the talkpage of the article with Cirt, he's more of an expert with this article, I'm sure he can help you a bit more than I can. :-) Maxim(talk) 02:18, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, take it easy guys. Lets not forget WP:BITE. Chump Manbear's edits were in good faith and factually accurate. Although it was right to remove the material since there is no source, I am distressed at how quickly you have alienated an editor who is trying to help improve the article. This is your only warning.
The next time you make a personal attack as you did at User talk:Lester, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people.

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Xenu. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page.
