US Presidents

Why are you changing the short descriptions of all the US Presidents to say "American politician"? These should describe the most important thing about the article topics. JustinTime55 (talk) 14:27, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

I changed them because the description ought to be all-encompassing; these politicians had many offices including Senator, congressman, mayor, governor, etc. aside from being president. Labeling them only as president was too specific and did not describe the entire contents of the article which covers the person’s entire professional political career. Please review WP:Short description. They don't necessarily have to include the person's entire life, and should probably include the most significant thing the person is noted for.
