Discussion on discussion of CoM's possible new signature, cont'd from meta-talk page[edit]
Two things for your attention. First of all, I would most strongly confirm that Bongomatic's comment on the meta-talk page is indeed correct. The talk page proposed a new signature and there was some discussion of it, and I aimed to discuss that discussion. (I hope I did not fail in that attempt.) Second, the very idea of a meta-talk page has already veered us into another dimension, as it were, one best addressed on a talk page--here it is. I would like to add that this possible discussion of a discussion about a discussion is fascinating, and eerily reminds me of what in literary criticism is called mise en abyme; friends, we may have mined something here whose mother lode is inexhaustible by the very virtue of its reflecting back upon itself. Literary credence to this suggestion is also supported by a book I used to read and love, Douglas Hofstadter's Gödel, Escher, Bach. Drmies (talk) 18:51, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
