St Anne's College, Oxford[edit]

Hello ChevronTango, Logo or Coat of Arms, I believe you get the idea. The version I uploaded was from a PDF source mention on the file description page. The version you created has a free license. The question here is the Coat of Arms free or non-free? As of 2011, the version I uploaded is in use. --Jovian Eye storm 11:26, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There are a great many rules and policies, on wiki in particular about CoA. The preferance here is for the SVG vector graphic over the non vector version. In addition it also matches those now in use on the other college pages as an added bonus. The college doesn't own the image, the artist does. Instead the college own the textual description of arms (the blazon) so as long as mine is inoffensive and matches the blazon I think we should stick with it. There's an argument the other way, but I think the benefits of this change outweigh the cons. ChevronTango (talk) 12:41, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Let me get the first thing sorted, both files are vector/SVGs. Please show me the pages where you saw the new version, as I am unable to find it. --Jovian Eye storm 22:45, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

RAF shoulder boards[edit]

Hi. Did you ever get around to upload the shoulder boards at http://chevrontango.deviantart.com/art/RAF-Shoulder-Boards-265049212 to the Commons? They would usefully illustrate the rank articles. Thanks Greenshed (talk) 01:28, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid I no longer have the files. If you are desperate I'd recommend chopping up my DA image but I'm not convinced that they would add much to the article as it stands. ChevronTango (talk) 21:20, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
