August 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Linkin Park, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page.I've already told you that these additions aren't necessary - please stop. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 06:09, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. I'm not sure if you're even taking notice of the warnings that I'm giving you, but you need to stop making these edits. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 10:17, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes, I'm also requesting you stop adding these "other releases" sections on timelines. That's so vague its not really helpful to the reader at all. I mean, it could mean EP, live album, greatest hits, compilation album, etc etc. Its too vague, and it would get cluttered if we add every single release, so we just usually main studio albums. Also, its generally frowned upon to add timelines to band articles that have had very minimal lineup changes in their existence. (Like Tool (band), who has had one line-up change over the course of multiple decades. We don't need a visualization of what that looks like, its pretty simple to understand.) Sergecross73 msg me 14:09, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User:4TheWynne/Aspect. I don't care what you're trying to do - going into my userspace is going way over the line 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 20:56, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:28, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Timelines[edit]

Kindly stop adding those timelines to articles that don't need them. The colors are cute, but most of the ones you added are really redundant, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're out of whack with AA and AAA guidelines as well. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 14:48, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MfD nomination of Draft:Jarrod Alonge[edit]

Draft:Jarrod Alonge, a page which you created or substantially contributed to (or which is in your userspace), has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Jarrod Alonge and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:Jarrod Alonge during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. KATMAKROFAN (talk) 01:12, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Jarrod Alonge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Declined 4 times, Jarrod Alonge (in mainspace) speedied.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
