Possible problems and their solutions[edit]

Hello Caitlinyeo, and again welcome to Wikipedia!
I'm Peter, and I make changes (in Wikipedia jargon, "edit") to Wikipedia with the username Shirt58 (talk · contribs).
I see that you have made a number of contributions to the Wikipedia webpage (in Wikipedia jargon, "article") Caitlin Yeo. There might be a few problems.

  • First of all: OhMyGoodness, I'm typing a message to Caitlin Yeo!!! Being rather overwhelmed by this is my problem, not yours.
  • It would appear that you are editing an article about yourself, which is generally not a good idea. The relevant Wikipedia guideline about this is Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. A good summary with advice can be found at Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
  • There might be a possibility that the person behind the User:Caitlinyeo Wikipedia account is not the real Caitlin Yeo. I'm afraid I don't have the relevant links about this right now, but I will find them as soon as I can.

Apologies: this is probably not the best advice you can get. I have a recurrence of a long-standing dental problem, and am a bit muzzy right now.--Shirt58 (talk) 10:22, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
