After reading this Wikipedia about picture brides, I quickly was captured by the first sentence that talked about the reasons why these Asian women migrated to the west coast part of the world (USA, Hawaii, Canada...). Some brides moved and were seeking opportunities abroad, others fled to avoid responsibilities to their family. The writer gave great details, insights, and sources that supported the facts rather than opinions. It was well-written and stayed neutral all the way.
