I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! I am going to tell you the same thing that I told Bill, if you can't provide a source for Phil's middle name then we cannot include it in the article. Please review WP:OR and WP:RS. Without a reliable source, we have to remove it. If you have a reliable source, simply let us know what it is on the talk page, and we'll be happy to include his middle name. Without a reliable source, please do not restore his "middle name" it will be reverted and you may end up being blocked.---Balloonman NO! I'm Spartacus! 14:10, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello balloonman

I originally changed the edit from user 174.100.245.201 many revisions back. He had changed it to Jerome which is correct as I asked Phil personally as he played poker on Ultimate bet. I returned it to the originally approved "J." as someone else had come in and changed it to Jeromey to mislead others. The reason for the interest in his middle name, is a free poker tourney which requires Phils middle name. So, some of the edits, such as Jeromery, were to mislead others. THAT is whay I returned it to the original approved "J.".

Thank you

I have no problem with J as it does appear in various sources... but the middle name is the subject of a fair amount of speculation online. Numerous pages have asked, "What is his middle name?" If we post something here, it will be picked up elsewhere as gospel. While it may be true, and I have no reason to doubt you, without a reliable source or something we can't include it. This goes back to one of our core principles that boils down to verifiability trumps truth... ;-)---Balloonman NO! I'm Spartacus! 16:17, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Balloonman

I am in total agreement with you and just wanted to let you know why I kept changing the name back to "J.". As a new user to Wiki in the edit mode, I did not notice the warning note posted onthe edit history page. My appology for not paying attention. I just wanted to make the quick "undo" and get it back to it's original state.

Thanks again
