Your deletion of sourced material at Solutrean hypothesis[edit]
When discussing something about subjects such as archaeology or genetics, the views of experts in the field are relevant and you shouldn't be deleting them. Our articles are built upon what are considered to be reliable sources by our criteria, and your dislike of the comment of a reliable source is not a good reason to delete it. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

- RE: WP:IMOS#In-article_use and it's application to Barrett, Adams, etc. There are multiple sources (outside of the Wikipedia article) which confirm that Gearóid Mac Ádhaimh is an Irish name which is in common use for this subject. Including several thousand web search results. And several reliable printed sources. Including, for example, the Dictionary of World Biography and Encyclopaedia Britannica. There are no such sources for Searbhreathach Baróid. A web search returns just the Wikipedia article. And a few primary sources. Which do not meet WP:RS or otherwise establish common-use. Beyond the subject or party's own publications. Otherwise you might want to please read WP:OSE (which is pretty clear that "if you fix that you have to fix everything" is not a valid argument for retaining or including content which is problematic under guidelines).
- RE: "a highly subjective smear". Where, exactly, is there any subjectivity? How is a simple statement of fact "subjective"? It is unequivocally OBJECTIVE that the party has no political office holders. (You might want to double check your dictionary for the definition of "subjective". While there, have a look at the word "smear". Which typically means to "damage reputation by false accusation". There is nothing false stated. And if it is damaging to the reputation of the group, for the reader to be informed that no member holds any office, then that is not down to any contributor to this project). As noted before, is a perfectly reasonable element of the body to be summarised in the lead. And of more than a little relevance to a reader's understanding of the subject. (As, frankly, a reader might otherwise reasonably expect a political party to have fielded political candidates or to have a member in political office).
- RE: Warring. If you continue to engage in content and edit warring, then I will be moving for an escalation.
I am otherwise happy to continue to discuss content on the relevant article talkpages. I am not really happy to continue to see this level of warring. - Blight55, the youtube link that you posted in my talkpage doesn't convince me at all. If only you know what that performance is all about, you wouldn't have called him a communist. Read this: Arturo_Toscanini#Film - In December 1943, Toscanini conducting the NBC Symphony in a performance of Verdi's overture, La forza del destino and Verdi's cantata Inno delle nazioni (Hymn of the Nations), which contains national anthems of England, France, and Italy (the World War I allied nations), to which Toscanini added the Soviet "Internationale" and "The Star-Spangled Banner". Tenor Jan Peerce and the Westminster Choir performed in the latter work and the film was narrated by Burgess Meredith. By conducting "Internationale", doesn't make him a communist. Hi, I'm snkn179, I noticed you removed the colourised picture of Van Buren that I had restored beforehand. If you want to discuss your disagreement, the talk page is always the best place to go. I have put forward my case there and as a result I will keep up the colourised image until I am satisfied that it is in fact not appropriate for usage there (unlikely as it follows all Wikipedia policies).
