Responding to user message[edit]

Yes, that's odd. But I glanced through my edits in 2007 and couldn't find any point where I discussed Barack Obama. Are you sure? Fishal (talk) 12:36, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm quite sure of it, in fact here's how the exchange went:

"And yet you see no problem with subjective sentences in the article such as, "Time magazine's Joe Klein wrote that the book 'may be the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician.'" or, "...Time magazine named him one of 'the world's most influential people.'" as long as he is praised, eh? Blarvink (talk) 12:57, 1 March 2008 (UTC)", he said.

"Yes this is outright hype. Some 'fan' got carried away. Strike all these 'fan' statements. They denigrate Wikipedia enormously. I am amused that everyone considers "most liberal" to be a criticism. Let's just add a statement like, "The American Conservative Union rated Obama's voting record as the most liberal of any Senator in 2007 (cite). Fishal (talk) 14:37, 1 March 2008 (UTC)," you replied.

I thought about how I'd definitely want to know about that sort of thing if it happened to me, out of morbid curiosity, and decided to mention t to you. BetweenCupsOfTea (talk) 20:07, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that is a bit harrowing to think about. Thanks for reaching out. Fishal (talk) 13:02, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@BetweenCupsOfTea: Good day, fellow editor. I did caught you've been edited for the main page of the Philippine adaptation of I Can See Your Voice. But i just wanna have to thank you for "cleaning up" the page. Let me explain the definition of ICSYVPH.

Alternate terms[edit]

  • SING-vestigator (a portmanteau of the words "sing" and "investigator"), a group of celebrity detectives or panelists.
  • SEE-cret songer (a portmanteau of words "see" and "secret", "song" and "singer"), a group of secret singers or mystery singers.
  • SEE-nger (playing on the word "singer"), a good singer.
  • SEE-ntunado (playing on the word "sintunado"), a bad singer.
  • Eyeward (a portmanteau of words "eye" and "award"), a trophy given by a guest artist(s) (a.k.a. music superstar) if the last mystery singer standing is a good singer.

Gameplay changes[edit]

  • In the inaugural first season, it is composed of six mystery singers and the three-round cycle refers to visual — lip-sync — evidence, starting with Stop, Looks, and Listen — The Voice is Synching — I Like to Prove It! Prove It! or Play it by Hear.
  • In the second season, the three-round cycle has changed to Two or False — The Voice is Synching — Play it by Hear.
  • In the third season, the number of mystery singers were reduced to five, but the three-round cycle being swapped to lip-sync — visual — evidence, starting with Everybody Sync (an American-esque lip-sync round) — Two or False — Play it by Hear.
