Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy[edit]

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. JBW (talk) 20:32, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Beatrice, you may not have fully understood what I meant in that message, as you have continued to add commentary and opinions. For example, saying that something is "an important step" or not is expressing a judgement or opinion, as is saying that something "will go a long way" towards achieving something. Also, reading your contributions to the article Deforestation in Nigeria I can very clearly see what your opinions are both on the deforestation and on measures to try to make improvements, but it should be impossible to tell from reading a Wikipedia article whether the people who write it have a good opinion, a bad opinion, or no opinion at all about the subject they have written about: that is, to a large extent, what it means to say that the article should be written from a neutral point of view. Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Hello Beatrice Ewa!
