Alphabet Supes[edit]

It should not be deleted if it's written by Jim Krueger and has a forward by Mark Waid, two very notable comic book industry writers. However, I notice the discussion ended on October 28, and the result was Keep. What do you need me for, just out of curiosity? Nightscream 04:57, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But how? The result of the AfD was keep! The AfD had already concluded with a decision to keep by the time I went there (as per your request), which is why I didn't vote! Who deleted it, and on what basis? Nightscream 04:47, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:04, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops![edit]

Thanks for the catch on the AfD closure--I've only closed one before, so I'll watch out for the header location in the future! --jonny-mt(t)(c)Tell me what you think! 02:33, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads-up[edit]

Thanks for the heads-up. I took a crack at adding some more material to music torture. Cheers! Geo Swan (talk) 18:08, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this is indeed a huge program, can you please ensure that the article is expanded? I cannot, as i know nothing about it. Peterkingiron (talk) 01:03, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please work on this, too. Bearian (talk) 21:51, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry for being a pest. I made some more comments at this AfD. I still don't get what makes it notable. Am I missing something? Is there a WikiProject ongoing to list all named Manhattan streets, or all Lower East Side streets, or whatever? Did someone notable grow up on this street? If so, I have no problem with keeping this article in the goal of being inclusive. Please get back to me or at User talk:Bearian. Bearian'sBooties (talk) 18:55, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was just re-reading your comments at the AfD and then saw the newest AfD for Madison Street (Manhattan). I will admit that I am more inclusionist in my philosophy, and that I would prefer to see these articles retained, or moved somewhere, rather than deleted. If the information is useful and encyclopedic, it should reside somewhere, if not in its own article, and a "Streets of the Lower East Side" might be an acceptable option. While Division Street has a decent claim (and you clearly disagree with that), Madison Street might be tougher at stands now, though it is a longer street. I will reconsider this issue and get back to you. Alansohn (talk) 19:01, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Papua New Guinea fixtures and results[edit]

Hi, I have started to expand the page - perhaps you would be good enough to revisit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Papua New Guinea fixtures and results, please? TerriersFan (talk) 19:43, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at Papua New Guinea national football team results and am very pleased. I would have voted to keep, which was the result anyway. Great job! Bearian'sBooties (talk) 03:36, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, though I don't rule out another deletion attempt :-( There are several editors in the football project who take a narrow view of notability requirements. TerriersFan (talk) 03:43, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is looking much better. We need to remove the red links. Bearian'sBooties (talk) 03:38, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I did do some cleanup on the article. Redlinks don't need to be eliminated, but those that are unlikely subjects for an article have been unlinked. Alansohn (talk) 03:50, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bible Software[edit]

I was adding stubs for links in other articles for Bible Software that had not yet been stubbed out. If I understand correctly the purpose of a stub is to provide a marginally useful page in place of no page so that the article can be given time to improve. As for the A7 Speedy Deletion of BibleDatabase -- A7 specifically does not apply to software. -- as for your concern that this particular bible software is not notable, that may be true. Probably the link to this article needs to be revised to be a link to the software website. SirLogic (talk) 01:38, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Corporate Resilience[edit]

Why did you decide to remove this article that I wrote a few hours ago - and then remove my response? I'm not sure who you are (?) but I doubt if you have any knowledge of the topic at all? If you think Corporate Resilience should be removed (with such haste?) then why not also remove Corporate social responsibility, or Enterprise risk management or any other such article? You have made a mistake. Please restore this article. Thank you--Patrick56 (talk) 18:35, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Raul's laws[edit]

This edit is not exactly professional, even if it's on the talk page of a page which is not completely professional neither, and even though I agree with it ;-). Cheers, Face 17:12, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User name[edit]

Thanks for your comments. I thought it wise to let the user provide some input before taking it through the official process. Maybe he will voluntarily revise the username if there is evendence that more people are not 100% comfortable with the name .. perhaps not. I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt, nonetheless. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:07, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Edit war"[edit]

I have responded to your allegations at both AN/I as well as the talk page at Law of the Palestinian National Authority. As I stated there, I think you have really jumped the gun on this and are way out of line with your personal comments about me. There is no need to respond on my talk page or here; the article's talk page is fine, plus whatever additional nonsense occurs at AN/I. I think I have acted properly by discussing issues at the article's talk page. Quite frankly I am stunned that you would push the "nuclear" button so quickly over something like this. 6SJ7 (talk) 02:49, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And by the way, I find it kind of amusing that you go poking around my user space, go to one of the busiest boards on Wikipedia to post links to what are obviously my personal notes (though publicly viewable, of course) and then accuse me of having an "obsession". 6SJ7 (talk) 03:18, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

legal sock[edit]

General question and in no way leading. . .for what purposes do you find this "legal sock" account of most use? Just curious. Ronnotel (talk) 14:46, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
