Welcome![edit]

Hello, Bassistphysicist, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

For now, I have reverted your edit to the article. Please see Talk:Perfect forward secrecy -- intgr 22:12, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Big Bang??[edit]

Actually, I "believe" in some sort of a Cyclic model. As in, the universe didn't begin with the big bang, although the latter is responsible for our existence. I don't know how it all started in the first place. --Chodorkovskiy (talk) 15:51, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Support[edit]

You don't have to necessarily support; if you wish, first review what other people say and such things. To vote, just go to WP:RFA and find my name; then, click the "Vote Here" link and add your vote to the bottom of whichever section you'd like to vote in (support, oppose, etc.). Thanks! _-M o P-_ 23:06, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to sign all of your posts on talk pages. Typing four tildes after your comment ( ~~~~ ) will insert a signature showing your username and a date/time stamp, which is very helpful.

Note: to support, this is all you have to type: # '''Support''' ~~~~

To oppose, you type this: # '''Oppose''' ~~~~

Re: Thanks[edit]

No problem! Flcelloguy (A note?) 00:31, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I can't help you with that. Flcelloguy (A note?) 00:51, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hey[edit]

Yeah, I know now you are not a pervert...hmnn there might be medical articles about that sort of thing. --Osbus 00:13, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hah, yeah, I bet there are. My grandmother is a nurse that works close to gynecologists, so I hear stuff that, well, a teenager shouldn't hear, lol. brainybassist 00:15, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

May the Force be with you.[edit]

Dear Bassistphysicist,

Thanks for voting on my RFA! I appreciate your faith in me, and was overwhelmed by the positive response to my RFA; for it shows that at least I'm doing something right. :) I've started working to improve myself already, and I hope that next time, things run better, and maybe, just maybe, one day we can bask on the shores of Admintopia together. Thanks and cheers, _-M o P-_ 21:49, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

speedy deletion warning[edit]

A tag has been placed on Metallic shift, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Pascal.Tesson 05:17, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Check This Out[edit]

Hello Bassistphysicist,

I'm a Wikipedian with the same interests and beliefs as you, i.e. I am also a devoted materialist and atheist, and I also compose music in my free time, and I believe, too, that some schools are a waste of time, so I pursue my own way of education. Really, I thought I had written this user page. I have written an article about a generally unknown mathematical structure, Mischner's Room and I need someone to confirm its validity. Please, check it out and send me any comments. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Orthologist (talkcontribs) 23:33, 11 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Your userpage is in Category:User templates or a related category. Please take it out of this category or find the userbox that puts your userpage in this category. If you know how to then <noinclude></noinclude> the category in the userbox and message me afterwards so that we can see the effect on the purged category. -PatPeter 19:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
