Nomination of Clust for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Clust is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Clust until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Self citation[edit]

I will revert your 2018 WP:SELFCITE; you need to discuss and convince on the talk page of the articles. Visibly you yourself are admitting it is a self-citation. And a 2018 publication is not sufficient at time for it to reach the minimum level of authority. Further additional edits will result in ANI. Limit-theorem (talk) 18:20, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

1) Sorry for using your talk page, still trying to get around the protocols of WP. 2) You could have removed the 2018 self-citation and its related algorithm rather than removing an entire paragraph that is key to the subject, if you insist that it is self-promotion. The current state of that WP section on the topic is poor for readers. In fact, the entire topic of gene expression clustering in bioinformatics is not well written in WP. I request that the paragraph is at least returned (without the 2018 published algorithm). I am not going to edit it my self fearing from the "ANI" threatening, although I don't know what "ANI" refers to! Once the publication is well-cited will come back for edits (or likely others in the community will have done it already). Thanks again. Basel1988 (talk) 12:05, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
