Comment from a study volunteer[edit]

I volunteer in Atlanta, recieving the HVTN505 injections. It is too bad there isn't an organization that is willing to step in with assistance for test subjects like me who are unemployed and basically homeless, totally broke but want to help more, if someone afforded me the stability. Hello, I moved this comment from HIV Vaccine Trials Network because Wikipedia talkpages are not the place for general discussion about the subjects of articles, and are reserved for talking about editing the article. That has nothing to do with HVTN policy. However, we can talk here in your userspace.
I recommend that you contact the coordinators at your study because I think they would like to talk to you about this. If you want to talk more after doing that, then perhaps you are aware that there is a community advocacy group for this research project whose members are volunteers in your area. You might want to contact these people, the CAB (community advisory board).
I am a CAB member in Seattle and I watch the Wikipedia page. I probably cannot help you beyond giving you phone numbers or contacts which I would expect that you already have, but just the same, if you have any questions feel free to either post on my page or contact me privately by going to my page and using the private email link.
