Calling sources on a song "reviews"[edit]

Hello. Two of the sources you added in this section were already on the article. Please make use of refnames to cite the same source if it's already present on the article. Secondly, you referred to at least one of the sources as a "review". None of those sources are explicitly marked as being track reviews, they were talking about the release of the album, the single and its music video. A writer for a music website commenting on the sound of a song is not "reviewing" the song, so it's disingenuous to frame it as such and going forward, I think you should avoid this phrasing. I would hesitate to even call these writers "critics". Ss112 11:28, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not restore this edit. As I just told you above, the sources you cited are not track reviews. They are merely writers remarking on the sound of the song in news articles, because none of the sources you cited in the reception section are marked as track reviews. You would need a source saying that the track has been acclaimed by critics because you have cited none. It is original research (WP:OR) otherwise. Ss112 08:33, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

September 2023: Do not add chart peaks not shown in the source[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ss112. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tension (Kylie Minogue album), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ss112 15:21, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
