List of La Liga hat-tricks[edit]

Hola, he contado los hat-tricks por club y hay 1082. Falta el Getafe (4). Pero 1082 + 4 no dan 1084 (sobran dos para que cuadren los 1086). Un saludo! --Zigurat (talk) 23:06, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Castro brothers[edit]

What a player and (apparently) what a human being was Quini! I suppose as a Spaniard and a Sporting fan you also know the story of his brother, a hero indeed!

Atlético Madrileño (juvenil)[edit]

Hi, this is not anything relating to Wikipedia editing, but I know you have an interest in Spanish youth football and would have more local knowldge than me, so I wanted to ask about Atlético Madrileño. I'm a bit confused about why the team exists? I have tried looking it up on Google etc but as you will know, that was also the name of Atlético B for many years so a lot of the results come back to them. From what I could gather, Atlético Madrileño was an unofficial youth team that represented the club when Jesús Gil stopped the official cantera, and then when the system was restarted, the Atlético Madrileño setup was allowed to continue alongside the official teams? Not sure if I have got that right. Also seems that the Madrileño Juv A team are officially connected to Atlético de Madrid (as per official website) but no other age groups, so do they operate as a separate club below that?

Seems a bit weird to me that Atlético are the only club which can have two teams in the Division de Honor and that they are allowed to operate in two different leagues with the possibility of winning them both, as has happened this season. What will happen if Atléti Juv A is drawn against Atlético Madrileño in the end of year competitions? Or will they be kept apart to try and make sure it doesn't happen?

Thanks for any info you can tell me regarding this. If you are aware of any references (Spanish would be fine, very unlilely to be any in English) which explain the situation, please either point me to it or add it to the Atlético Madrid (youth) article to explain to anyone else who may be wondering about this unusual sitation – at present, Atlético Madrileño linnks back there but there is no team list or other info for them, I'm not saying that is incorrect but it would be good to add something about them on the article if we can. As I stated above, I tried to look myself but most of it just had recent results etc without explaining about the origins of the team, or related to old stuff about Atlético B.

Hello WOSO editors! A few initiatives have been started with an emphasis on making more WOSO links blue (similar to the work that WikiProject Women in Red does) and filling in the gaps within various league, team, and player, etc. articles.

If you're interested in collaborating with others to make more links blue, take a look at the initiatives listed in the box below. Sign up at the bottom of an initiative page and help grow the lists, add potential references, resources, and create the articles ... or create your own initiative.

Did you know ...

WP:GNG takes precedence over WP:NFOOTY (which only includes the players in 1 active women's league)? Often times there is enough media coverage that meets WP:GNG or other notability guidelines. For more information, see WP:WOSO#Notability and be sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}

Has an article you worked on been nominated for deletion? See:

Want some tips, assistance, or resources from other WOSO editors?
Leave a message on the task force talk page.

Thank you for your continued contributions to articles related to women's football / soccer (WOSO)!

Inigo Martinez[edit]

Hi, Asturkian. His case was similar to Iker Muniain's, which you helped me last season. Specifically, his yellow card against Celta in matchday 30 was apparently taken back, therefore he could appear against Betis today. Hopefully you can help me again. By the way, may Gijon promote this season :) Centaur271188 (talk) 16:45, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Una cosilla sobre traducciones[edit]

Buenas, Asturkian. Esa traducción la metió un usuario IP. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:14, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Neptune BC[edit]

Hi Asturkian. I see you moved Neptune Basketball Club to Neptune BC with the reasoning of "Name according to the rest of articles at this Wikipedia". Which "rest of articles" are you referring to may I ask? There should be consistency within the league i.e. if you are going to move Neptune Basketball Club to Neptune BC, then Killester Basketball Club should be moved to Killester BC. In saying that however, I disagree with your original move. I made sure a few years back that all the Irish basketball team/club articles were consistent. Teams that did not have distinguishing name features compared to their parent club or organisation (i.e. Neptune or Killester) did not have a team-based article, rather a club-based article. UCC Demons for example can be distinguished from Blue Demons Basketball Club, but Neptune's Super League team CandS Neptune can not be distinguished from Neptune Basketball Club without the sponsor name. The same goes for Killester, Killorglin, Maree, Moycullen and Templeogue. To conclude, I think either Killester, Moycullen and Templeogue should also be moved to "BC", or Neptune is moved back to Neptune Basketball Club. I'd like to hear your thoughts. Cheers. DaHuzyBru (talk) 08:13, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I came to your talk page for a similar reason to the above. Namely that I noted (and, put frankly, do not agree with) the page move. The rationale for the page move was (to paraphrase) "for consistency with other/similar articles". I am not sure what article-naming guideline this refers to, but, typically, the guideline which determines the title of an article is the WP:COMMONNAME guideline. "Neptune BC" is unequivocally *not* the common name of the subject. So, if we are referring to some other guideline (that supercedes the common-name guideline), then please advise what that is. Or, alternatively, please move the article back. Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 16:04, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Encuesta CIS según El Confidencial[edit]

Buenas tardes, Asturkian. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:36, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
