Rollback

Hello, this is just to let you know that I've granted you Rollback rights. Just remember:

If you have any questions, please do let me know.

HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 13:05, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

The article Ramayapatnam Port has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The port has been shifted to new location, the references are too old and all of them support assumptive news.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The film poster has the name in English, which was two Bs written artistically. -- Xrie (talk) 11:30, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

The Malayalam write up reads Run Baby Run. Also, my searches for the movie online lists it as Run Baby Run in the movie reviews and the like. However, this director seems to have a track record of messed up spellings. I'm confused now. Ashwin147 (talk) 12:23, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Let it be like this, then! :-) -- Xrie (talk) 12:22, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Neelam Sanjiva Reddy

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Neelam Sanjiva Reddy you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Google Book citations

This tools helps in creating full citations for Google Books link. Just copy and paste the Google Books url and click load. The full citation will be generated. Thanks.--Skr15081997 (talk) 13:54, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Few more important points: for snippets the tool won't pick up the page number by itself so you will have to add it manually. You can also change the order in which the author's name occurs by clicking on the blue coloured or next to the author's field. Link to author's article can also be added using Authorlink. This work's only when the author's name and the title of the author's article on Wikipedia meet exactly (Roger Ebert book). If you are citing only one page then you can remove the endash (–) after that page number in the Page number(s) field (located just above the ISBN field). Indian English Newspaper Search tool is very helpful in finding sources for India related article. Thanks.--Skr15081997 (talk) 12:57, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

Sengar/Sengur River

Hi

  • Although Sengar River is mentioned in article by you with reference but at present this river is known with Sengur River and is referenced by me with nic.in web--AL Mishra (talk) 06:56, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
    • @AL Mishra : The commonly cited name seems to be Sengar. There are no other references to the river as Sengur other than a single entry in that site. Unless we can get other reliable sources to back up the suggestion as Sengur, I think we should let it remain as it were. --Ashwin147

Replaceable fair use File:Siddharth Lama.png

Thanks for uploading File:Siddharth Lama.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:41, 3 August 2017 (UTC)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Draft:INS Udaygiri (2022) into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:16, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

Faiz's poem

Greetings @ Ashwin147,

Visited your DYK submission but thought it would be better to communicate @ your talk page.

1) My first feeling after reading, DYK and the article communicate only with fan followers of Faiz's particular poem; other readers are not getting enough context as of now. IMHO feedback from other users may benefit also adding notes in the article with other reviewer consultation might help.
Feedback by other users may benefit the article so I avoided reviewing the same.
2) After reading the article, I had a feeling of the article being incomplete.
3) IMHO it would be ok to shorten poem name in the DYK since international audience likely find present long sentence title difficult to read and understand.
