We just went through a long-term problem of this type with another user from India; the objective here is quality, not quantity. Categorization of bilateral relations articles

Hi Asalrifai. It's actually useful to have articles like Australia–Canada relations categorized explicitly in Category:Bilateral relations of Australia and Category:Bilateral relations of Canada rather than just indirectly through Category:Australia–Canada relations. Many readers come to categories like Category:Bilateral relations of Australia to look specifically for these summary articles rather than the full-blown category so this dual categorization is a helpful navigational tool. I was just adding a few today when I realized these had actually been there a long time before you removed them. I'm going putting them back but if you disagree we can try to set up some central discussion on the topic. On a related note, I'm not sure all categories of the form Category:Country1–Country2 relations are worth creating. There's not much agreement on how much material is required before creating a category but I think a very solid majority editors would consider that you need at least one subcategory or one article beyond the article of the same name. So for instance Category:Barbados–Japan relations is a bit of an empty shell and should probably be deleted (for now) if it cannot be populated. Pichpich (talk) 02:38, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Pages like Cambodia–Denmark relations should be categorized in Category:Cambodia–Denmark relations, Category:Bilateral relations of Cambodia and Category:Bilateral relations of Denmark and this has been the consensus for many years. I spent a considerable amount of time to fix the ones where you'd removed the "bilateral relations" categories and I would really appreciate if you stopped removing them.
