Aristoi Classical Academy[edit]

I would like to offer some guidance on improving the article about Aristoi Classical Academy. While the article would benefit from updating and some expansion, there are some issues with this first attempt and I have reverted to the previous version of the article, as I consider that is more in line with what is required here.

  1. The previous version, while shorter, is based more on outside sources independent of the school itself. This is key to our policy on verifiability of article content.
  2. There was what I would consider excessive detail in some sections, for instance the section on dress code.
  3. Parts of the new material were not expressed in the neutral tone that we expect. In particular, phrases such as "our mission" should be avoided, as should language (e.g. "enormously popular ... in the community") that appears intended to promote the institution.
  4. The extended justification of classical education in general does not belong here. This should remain a factual encyclopedic article about the school itself, not fulfilling the role of a school prospectus or brochure.

You are welcome to update and improve the article in line with the policies linked above, based on information from reliable independent sources: Noyster (talk), 16:47, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
